Seneca Nation Health System (SNHS) Pharmacy provides comprehensive prescription drug services at the Lionel R. John Health Center (LRJHC) and Cattaraugus Indian Reservation Health Center (CIRHC). Each prescription order is filled by either our new ScriptPro robot or a pharmacy technician, and then checked by a pharmacist to ensure safe, effective drug therapy for you and your family members. The pharmacy staff welcome any questions or concerns you may have with your prescriptions, this 'medication counseling' is offered for all new prescriptions, or anytime that you may have questions.

SNHS Pharmacy also fills prescriptions from medical providers who you see for referral specialty care, as well as orders from medical providers who may see you after hours and on weekends in urgent or emergent care settings. These orders are filled once pharmacy is notified that your care at the outside provider has been authorized by the Referrals Office.

There are two easy ways:

1) Request a Refill by Phone

Dial: (716) 945-8240 if you get your scripts filled at the Lionel R. John Health Center

Dial: (716) 532-8330 if you get your scripts filled at the Cattaraugus Indian Reservation Health Center

Press 1 to enter the refill line (2 options):

a) Press 1. (Follow the prompts) Enter your Rx number, omitting any letters. Press the # sign.

Rx Number: Your prescription number is located on your prescription label. 

Multiple Refills: Follow prompts and repeat until all refills have been entered. 


b) Press 4 to leave a message with refill information. We do check the messages throughout the day, but keep in mind, the processing time is slower when you leave a message.

Press 2 (this option is for doctors and other providers only)

Press 3 (or stay on the line) if you have a question for someone in the pharmacy.

2) Request a refill by Smartphone app

Go to Google Play or Apple Store and search for: RefillPro

Before first use, enter 716-945-8240 for LRJHC Pharmacy or 716-532-8330 for CIRHC Pharmacy so the app knows where to send your request.

You will be able to enter your Rx# or scan the barcode on the label.

Back-up Pharmacy Procedure for Refills

For patients who will be out of medication refills during our closure after-hours (emergency basis), during the weekend, or for planned or emergency closures. 

  • LRJHC patients call 945-5894, CIRHC patients call 532-5582
  • Choose option 1- to be routed to our answering service 
  • Request to have a prescription called in to our back up pharmacy 
  • A SNHS provider will verify the prescription you need and call in to Gowanda or Salamanca Rite Aid, they are familiar with our procedure. 
  • Please give the pharmacy time to begin processing your order to avoid unnecessary travel. We strongly suggest calling ahead to confirm the pharmacy received your prescription and to provide them with your insurance information. There is no cost associated with using the back up pharmacy.
